A - US Pro Taekwondo is a Kukkiwon certified school with Kukkiwon certified masters and instructors. We are also registered under World Taekwondo organziation, the official Olympic certified Taekwondo organization. A - No, there are multiple organizations for Taekwondo :WT / Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo), (ITF Taekwondo), and ATA (American Taekwondo Association). We are in the biggest, most official Taekwondo organization, WT / Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo). This is the only Taekwondo organization recognized in the entire world to be placed into the Olympics.

Q - Can Anyone Teach Taekwondo?

A - In South Korea, the birthplace of Taekwondo, there is a law that prevents just anyone to open a Taekwondo school due to safety reasons. Unfortunately, in the United States there is no certification that prevents that. However, our school’s founder, Grand Master Jung So Han, is allowed to open a school and teach in South Korea as well since he has the certification that permits him to do so.

Q - What benefits can my kids get from learning Taekwondo?

A - During your kids journey of learning Taekwondo from us, they will learn many important life lessons that they won’t learn in regular schools. We will teach your child courtesy, integrity, discipline, self control and indomitable spirit. Through our “Future Leader Knights” Program we guarantee positive results in these categories. We will definitely also teach your children self - defense skills that will actually work (unlike many other martial arts out there).

Q - How do you teach discipline and life lessons to my children?

A - During the entire class we teach the students how to behave and act like leaders. We encourage them to accept hard challenges head on to become mentally strong and to have social connections with each other. This will teach them how to build connection with others. At the end of class we always finish with invaluable life lessons which will help them succeed and be happy in life presently and in the future. This Program is called “Future Leader Knights”

Q - What’s the difference between Taekwondo and other Martial Arts?

A - Unlike some other martial arts such as boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing we also teach our students how to become a better person overall. You might see on TV that many other martial artists are not respectful in the ring and outside their fighting ring. Taekwondo is the official Korean Military martial arts which requires their soldiers to learn discipline while they also learn combat. Taekwondo’s technical specialty over every other martial arts including oriental martial arts such as Judo is their kicking. There is no better martial arts in the world that will compare to Taekwondo’s kicking.

Q - What is the History of Taekwondo?

A - In the past, there were many martial arts in South Korea such as Tae Kyun, SooBakDo, Tang Soo Do, Gwonpup and many more. One day, the South Korean masters of many different martial arts came together to create the Taekwondo that we know today. It can be said that Taekwondo is the true first Mixed Martial Arts.
